Pangandaman-De la Paz golf mauling incident: from local blogs to international news
Philippine blogs are buzzing over the golf mauling involving Masui, Lanao del Sur Mayor Nasser Pangandaman Jr., his father Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman, Delfin de la Paz, and his family. It started with this blog post by his daughter, Bambee de la Paz.
At around 1:30 PM today, at Valley Golf and Country Club, Antipolo City, Mayor Nasser Pangandaman, Jr., Mayor of Masiu City, Lanao del Sur, his father, Secretary Nasser Pangandaman of the Department of Agrarian Reform, and company, beat my defenseless 56-year-old dad and my 14-year-old brother to a pulp because of some stupid misunderstanding on the golf course.
The news of this altercation spread around the blogosphere, microblogging services like Twitter and Plurk, and traditional media (read Noemi Dado’s entry for the list of links).
It’s even reached international news sites like Fox News, News.com.au, and The Straits Times. Now that’s the powerful effect of blogging for you.

The Pagandamans are typical muslims. They’re BRAVE (kuno)when their in groups, surrounded by thier relatives and/or companions, especially, BODYGUARDS. But actually COWARD in person. Hamumin mo ng mano-mano, walang IK ang mga P…A! I knew because I grew-up and lived in South Cotabato and experienced a lot of UNPLEASANT things with that kind of moros in the North and CDO. I also got muslim friends but HINDI KATULAD NILA!

To Mr. Manuel Quisay – Siguro Nabugbug ka ng muslim kaya ang laki ng galit mo. Kung Matapang ka bakit di mo sila hamunin.Masyado makitid yan utak mo at wala kang masabi kundi manira. Your a typical Filipino who has a mind of a PRIMATE! The issue here is not about Religion or Race but an unfortunate incident that turned into a brawl. Give both sides the benefit of the doubt.
If you think that your tough guy…sabihin mo kung saan ka pwde hanapin at pupuntahan kita magisa without my relatives and/or companions, especially, BODYGUARDS like what you are claiming.

toto yan puro lang cla yabang,, d2 sa sultan kudarat,, pag dumaan ang mga moros na yan,, ang dami nilang sasakyan at maraming bodyguard,, at kong sino ang kumakalaban sa kanila,, basta nalng patayin ng walang ka laban laban hindi naman cla magalaw ng pulis dahil malapit cla sa pangulo.. kong ginagawa nila dya sa manila sa mga mayaman na tao.. paano pa kaya sa kanilang lugar,, na parang dios ang tingin nila sa sarili nila..sana mag kaisa tayo para labanan ang human right violator na mga moros na ito,, sinisira nila ang pangalan nga mga muslims..

If it is true that the pangandamans did not wait for their turn to play, then I am not surprised for this behavior. Filipinos are known to lack discipline coupled with this family in political power. I have nothing against moros but heard negative stuffs about them.

although news lang ang source of info ko, i really believe na ang mga de lapaz talaga ang na aagrabyado sa kasong ito. naaawa talaga ako sa kanila specially the kids. im praying that justice shall prevail.PSALM 46 lang… GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH, A VERY PRESENT HELP IN TROUBLE.

Clash of ego ang nangyari.. isang mayaman at isang politico…. pang maykaya lang ang golf e… status symbol…. pati anak ni dela paz e naglalaro… gentleman’s game daw ang golf…PWE! ang asal ng mga yan e hoodlum…
yang mga pulitikong mga yan, ang yayabang pati mga bodyguards… e sineswelduhan lang naman ng taumbayan…akala mo na kung sino.. idamay niyo pa yang mga pulis, militar, konsehal at pati hamak na barangay tanod…
Kaya lang kung iisipin, yang mga dela Paz e mayaman din kasi(kaya afford maggolf)…tinamaan ang mga ego sa paglalaro ng golf…away ng mga mayayabang…nagpa-awa effect din na kesyo matanda na yung tatay… tapos yung anak e may hangin din sa ulo..gaya sa badminton sa corporate, daming mayabang(gaya ng duktor na ulol na naglalaro sa centro-inihian ko sasakyan mo gago!) at ngayon lang yata nakapaglaro ng competitive game… hindi nakakaintindi ng pagkatalo or sportsmanship…mga PWE!!!

is it 2+bodyguards vs 3? sinong kayang grupo ang mas matapang? susugod kaya ang 3 laban sa 5 o 6? kung kayo ang namamahala ng golf course, kanino kaya kayo kakampi, sa mga taong gobierno o sa businessman?

no doubt, almost one dela paz to be killed during the incident, but they deserved to be bogbog mayayabang yata yan eh, lalaban pa sila sa hindi nila kaya. anuman ang gawin nila ay ndi sila manalo sa pangandamun. if they are not guilty, why the Board of dirctors of the golf course expelled the dela paz and suspension only to pangamndaman, are the bod was bribed for favoring the muslim, they might favor the dela paz because they are christians, so again are they bribed, surely no, they were not been bribed. thier verdict is true and base on the probable fact, kng hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa kayo makapanilwala na dela paz ang may kasalanan ay magpatingin kayo sa doctor maybe something wrong with your thingking
